Join a major retail brand transforming its digital landscape to meet the demands of modern commerce. We’re looking for an experienced Azure Architect to design scalable cloud solutions that support seamless customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid Azure architectures supporting retail platforms
- Define and maintain architecture standards, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and compliance
- Drive migration of legacy systems to modern Azure-based services
- Collaborate with teams to align architecture with business goals
- Establish governance models in Azure
- Recommend and integrate new Azure services to support retail innovation (AI, analytics, IoT)
- Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders across IT and digital commerce
- 6+ years in cloud architecture with extensive Azure expertise
- Proven experience designing solutions for retail, eCommerce, or customer-centric platforms
- Strong understanding of Azure security, networking, identity, and cost management
- Skilled in IaC and automation (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, scripting)
- Experience working with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred
- Familiarity with retail technologies (POS systems, CRM, inventory, supply chain) is a big plus
