Role – We are looking for a seasoned SAP PS/SD Consultant to lead the functional stream of a SAP landscape, ensuring seamless solution execution and supporting future enhancements and projects. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership and communication skills, functional expertise, and a proactive approach to identifying and driving improvements. You will play a pivotal role in aligning business needs with functional and architectural solutions, ensuring best practices and standards are adhered to throughout.

You will play a pivotal role in aligning business needs with functional and architectural solutions, ensuring best practices and standards are adhered to throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional workstream across solution delivery, enhancements, and operational support.
- Identify and report risks, technical gaps, and provide actionable mitigation plans.
- Conduct Functional Risk Reviews and follow through on resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with client architects and SAP TQM to align with SAP’s roadmap and push for future enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve functional issues and bottlenecks in solution design and delivery.
- Review and guide changes from a functional standpoint to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Oversee sign-off processes across Hypercare stages and transitions to BAU (Business-as-Usual).
- Ensure technical changes adhere to standards and do not compromise existing solutions.
- Identify competency gaps within teams and support development plans.
- Participate in governance and operational cadence meetings with stakeholders and program teams.
- Work closely with Service Delivery Management and Architecture teams to bridge functional gaps.
- Contribute to solution design discussions and collaborate with the BAU operations team and Product Owners.
- Engage in effort estimation and proposal support for future projects.
- Drive resolution of conflicts in solution design through informed and collaborative decision-making.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in SAP Functional Architecture.
- Strong understanding and implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Professional Services module implementations (Greenfield or Brownfield) in SAP Public Cloud.
- Client-facing experience with a track record of delivering functional leadership in complex environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Project System (PS) module.
- Working knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module.
